Well I'm all ready for whatever the weather may bring! Panic food buying all done- the shops were much busier than usual!!

panic buying here in Belfast too. People have been listening to the radio and TV.

Good luck to ireland- the NE part is in a big sweet spot tomorrow- maybe 20cms & beyond...

That was January 2008, that was me that copped it. It was very localised, this is much more widespread.

Thanks Steve - likewise - great to have your input here! I live in Bangor - on the coast in County Down so hopefully we are in that sweet spot even though we are a coastal location!

Can anyone see anyway that the cold air might reach 50-100 miles further south west tmoro so more of the east coast gets in on the action. It wud almost be a tragedy to be a half an hour drive away from 20cm of snow with buckets of rain at 2c hammering down just to remind U how close U were :(
