One or two light showers overnight but also some clear intervals. Thick fog developed around 0500 and is now beginning to thin and lift, the sky being visible above it once you get below 300m.

Ground frost with the temp at 0.8c currently after a low of 0.4c. Notable temp contrast to about 1 mile west of me and 50m higher, where a Vantage Vue is reporting a temp of 5.3C which is their low.

Mostly clear with some relatively small CB's to the south associated with showers over Lyme Bay.

The evening saw clear spells and variable cloud which produced a light shower around mid evening.

A dry and mostly foggy morning, the fog thinning at times to allow a little weak sunshine. The fog cleared quickly after midday and it became sunny for about an hour during the early afternoon before a sheet of St spread in from the south and brought more fog by late afternoon.

Light showers have arrived from the south west in the last half hour.

Quite a pleasant day with good sunny spells after early low cloud and mist had dispersed. A high of 5.9c with just a very light flow from the south.

Just watched the BBC national weather who forecast an overnight low of 6c however it's currently only 4c in heavy showers!
