Netweather Community Fund

Hi all, I just wanted to let you know about something we've setup recently - the Netweather community fund...

The fund is in place to help provide some cash (and potentially other resources) for any projects / meetups / events organised as part of the netweather community. So if you have an idea for a project that you think could be run as part of and benefit the community, or perhaps would like to organise a regional meet up, let us know and we can explore the best way that we may be able to support that.

For instance for a meet up, it may be as simple as providing some money to go behind the bar, to subsidise the cost of hiring a room, or helping to organise it. For a project we may be able to supply data from our archives, help source data, help to fund some fact finding or run some jobs on our servers to crunch some numbers. It's all open ended, and although the fund isn't a bottomless pit so we'll not necessarily be able to help out on every occasion, we'll certainly look into all ideas and requests and help out where we can.
