Not sure if that helps with seeing the activity over the North Sea?

Yep you can see it clearly there and it is ongoing. I don't have any explanation for this but if you were under it, you would know about it!.

I think I will sign up for trawler duty so i can see some some snow today. good.gif

can anyone update me as to how it looks currently, really hoping to see something, as im starting to get a headache lol :)

Well when i was watching the bbc forecast it shows snow for our region this evening, then the snow just dissapears then appears in east anglia lol I dont think the snow willl move that quick perhaps just the bbc speeding up there charts but im hoping we do see some proper snow, could anyone say which part will do quite well south, west, north yorks ?? smile.png and what are chances of metoffice upgrading to amber warning?

Just checked the temps here: 1.3C and the DP is 0.4C. Needs to drop a bit although there is no rain forecast for here. I would suspect though that at this kind of temp, we wpuld probably get sleet, rather than the fluffy stuff. We seem to get a lot of this here.

I think the dark will help with this.

Nothing yet arrived South Sheffield - but can see from the radar that due to reach me around 5:15 onwards - hope those pesky Pennines dont halt the progress
