Doesn't look to be moving far, playing the loop from 3pm until now on the NW RADAR it's barely pushed past Snowdonia. Yet expeted to be arriving here 8pmish this evening?

Latest BBC forecast on around 17:55 http://www.bbc.co.uk...ideo_and_audio/

Edit they've joined that national news so it will follow that just after 18:15 before country file

-7c being reported at Loch Glascarnoch now despite conditions being reported as overcast - pretty notable for 6pm in early December.

OK it's not -7 here, but -3c for Norwich is bloody well cold enough too!

Yeah I wouldn't be suprised if we at least saw a dusting before the snow turns to rain here in the East. clear, -1 here at the moment and falling.

Yeh could get quite a bit before the rain washes it away, but I cba to stay up for that! Haha

Now -0.5°C and rising from a low of -2.8°C at 19:00. Just staring to cloud over here: you can still see Jupiter and the moon through the cirrostratus layer.

Snowing in Buxton but nothing other than rain falling where I am 7 miles to the north. Just that extra 300ft is making all the difference for them.
