Changing your profile picture

The photo editor is an absolute flipping joke! It will not for the love of mike let me change my picture. I've tried everything including clearing the cache but despit my telling it to upload a picture from my computer it keeps replacing it either with my previous picture or some random picture its getting from somewhwre else. It shouldn't have to be this mflaming difficult!

It's not ideal because of the way that the software works - it doesn't change the name of your picture when you upload it which means that our cdn (content delivery network) continues to serve the original version of the image. We get round it by getting the cdn to check for a new image every few hours, but it does mean that when you upload a new pic it may take up to 24 hours to show. If you upload it though it will update at some point in that period & I'm led to believe that the next software update to the forum will fix this.
