I remember this storm well. I was living in Brighton at the time and recognised the storm that passed overhead as a supercell. It got me out of bed and my other half was not impressed with how excited I was because I recognised the supercell features, even though it was dark. You could actually feel the pressure drop as it went overhead. I believe that it dropped a tornado to the east of Brighton that was less well reported at the time.

I was wondering if the storm/tornado had a name if that is okay please? (I am curious as my family always told me I was born on the day of this tornado - 7th Jan 1998 - and when I inform people of this they always ask the storms name?)
