Clear intervals last night.

Few showers by dawn, sunny intervals this morning, then heavy showers 12-1500. Mainly cloudy afternoon. Fresh SSW wind, rather cool. Just a few brief showers since mid afternoon.

Drove through prolonged and quite torrential downpours 14-1530 around Ammanford and Llandeilo.

Showery today. And since late afternoon rain has been thumping down.

A foot of rain in Sept and a yard of rain since the start of June.

Dreadful up here in the Lancs hills. And forecast for tomorrow singles us out for more wet horror.

Chilly too today. Max temp 12.8C. Ice particles in the raindrops on the car windscreen.
