The cloudiest day of the week with extensive thick Cirrus allowing lightbulb sun throughout the morning, quite rare to

have such a sky for so long! A few drops of rain in the last hour too.

Still a thick veil of cloud over the sky masking the sun. Had a few spots of rain an hour or so back but dry again now.

what an awful day! cloudy rain or drizzle on and off with one brief brighter spell early pm, a 'high' of 12.9C more like mid October than September and the lowest max since another truly awful day 3 June this year.
