So, what do we think about Friday's chances then?

Yes, but at least it's not raining. I wonder if it'll brighten later?

Morning, seems like we all have the same dreary start to the day - it's dry here so I'm not too bothered, I've been one long walk already after waking up at silly o'clock for a Sunday and now I'm off to pick fruit and berries for freezing and jam making.

I wish it would, but NW general forecast says not.

Too much to do outside today and have already been roped into some furniture shifting for neighbours which didn't figure in the days events.

Fridays potential still seems low, but of course it is a long way out yet:

Just been dog walking following a somewhat uinexpected 3 - 0 squash league match triumph, notwithstanding a few glasses of red last night! Isotonic sports drinks, who needs 'em?

Had hoped to harvest some berries including sloes, but very sparse pickings. Was uniformly grey earlier but just the odd patch of blue coming through now. Hope to get down to Priory Park to see the start of the last stage of the Tour of Britain today.

Hope all are enjoying their weekend.

Oh God. Yet another train journey; this time to Norwich. Weather is beautiful, sunny and warm. I'm shattered. :(

Clearing slightly now but a cloudy, dull old day although clear enough to see Dungeness from Eastbourne this afternoon.

A good bit of detective work there Robin.

That will make the mild mush weather forecasts a little more bearable in winter!!!
