After a chilly night with the windows open, it's quickly warming here. A lot of altocumulus castellanus and floccus around this morning though which would suggest some mid-level instability. Certainly feeling more humid than yesterday. 19.1C

another absolutey gorgeous day

just topping 26C in my garden so it makes it the warmest day this month and the warmest since 19 August the warmest for that month, so it may end up the warmest day since the 30.2C here on 24 July.

Its turned out to be about the 5th warmest day this year, 2 in July and 2 in May beating it, quite a breeze has developed as well with a lot of Ci making the sunshine quite hazy but not Cs as no sign of any halo. A good way to end this lovely spell for this area.

Autumn seems to beckon on the charts for much of this week for here!

A suprisingly cool start this morning with a min temp of 9.9C, but under clear skies it rapidly warmed up to a maximum of 26.6C in the afternoon, making it the joint 4th warmest September maxima in 32 years of records here and just 0.5C below the record set in 1999.

The air has been notably dry aswell, with a minimum humidity of 36%, which is the lowest since April 2011.

Currently mostly cloudy but still warm with a temperature of 25.1C and 46% humidity.

A dry and sunny morning but with increasing As castellanus by midday. The early afternoon became rather cloudy, but still very warm, and one or two showers developed in the vicinity, but not here. Towards late afternoon the cloud began to disperse again and there was a noticeable fall in temperature.
