Evening all, lovely weather day apart from the drizzle of the morning, but the afternoon and evening have made up for it with warm sunshine and blue skies. Another fine sunset to take me into the weekend - just have to stop feeling ill now

Back to the provinces thank God. London is soooo damn busy and frantic. And the buildings are mahoosive. It's ok for a day or two but it'd drive me up the wall. Nah, I'll stick to EA ta very much.

Snow from Christmas eve (so I can get my shopping done and more importantly people can get my presents!) Til mid February

Yes I know would be horrendous (because nothing would get delivered,run or work, I would love it!) and the daily express would go into melt down but we would get used to it!

Bit early I know but... I just love it when we get our first properly cold day when I can can just wrap up, I even love the first big fogs of the autumn as well which linger all day long, you know it signals either cold weather or milder weather on the way, preferably the former.

I love when you go for a walk at the local lake (mine is the queens Virginia water lake) I know...I put my posh accent on then...And there is frost still on the ground..The sun hardly shows its glow over the horizon because there is high cloud and there is a mist over the lake....

As for the snow well.....if it could start snowing on Christmas eve about 4pm and not stop until new years day that would do very nicely for me thank you

I'm actually looking forward to the first frost as well, I know it's sad but I just love waking up to white ground and there is so much fun to be had in the winter.....

will say i feel november mid onwards for 2 weeks will see snow very cold as well

end december to 2nd week january will see snow

last week in february snow

i also think we could see a week or 2 of snow in march but not so disruptive

roughly laying snow 20 plus days

i am still working on my forecast-guess

will post at end of month

If what you wrote there comes off, I wonder what part number we would get to on the London & south east thread when it splits off! Lol

What I hate is when its gets mild after a period of cold, just wish the seasons could make their minds up!

sunday dry and quite warm

looks like wind and rain but very late in the afternoon

wet and windy sunday night

any rain clearing the far south by lunchtime monday

then sunny spells

still breezy

could be quite warm on tuesday low 20s

dry and not so windy

looks dry and fairly warm again on wednesday

note ex nadine a long way south

I don't believe in UFOs until about 2 mins ago when I went out for a fag, it is a clear night tonight..chilly..I was looking up in the sky to the north saw a puffy white cloud..Suddenly with a small flash..It was gone 0.o I promise there is nothing in my fag..VERY ODD..Someone explain :S

Your guess is as good as mine John - but it seems to work well as it is, it might just be a bit too busy in the winter though, with some of the excitement on here already tonight and we are only in September it looks like the 'silly season' could be a long one !

I blame the bad summer and lack of storms, I think we are all desperate for some exciting weather
