Blimey, what's going on up there? Is that from slow moving heavy showers or from continuous rain?

LOL no which is probably just as well! Was woken at about 5.30am this morning by the rain pounding off the roof. Was continuous torrential rain until about 0730 when it eased off. Met Office have issued a Yellow Alert valid from 1000 for further, slow moving torrential showers and thunder!

A dry day here with quite a bit of cloud and a breeze but it reached about 19C and stayed there until early evening when the sun became stronger. A mild evening but turning cooler with the approach of the front being shown by thickening stratus.
