British Airways have a flight sale on. Ive booked my flights because I dont think that they will get any cheaper.

The prices are similar to the pre xmas sale last year.

Ive paid £569 for direct BA flights

Make sure you select an outbound price first because the return price listed often changes

Prices may fluctuate whilst the 4 day sale is on.

can fly out with American airlines and return with BA for £550

hope this is of some help

Im going on tour 3

The suspense was killing me, so I booked our three flights and now we are set, and good to go.

Bring it on..

I've already sent an email to Obama to see if he could see his way clear to setting something up for next year, even a tiddler of a viewable tornado would be nice.good.gif

He did reply and say "Some things. are beyond my control" Oh wellcray.gif

Three flights booked sire , pleas to Obama , fingers crossed , good news . What date do you flight out ?

Tom

Tom, we are booked for Denver, so the last tour. Three flights as there's three of us going this year. Waiting to see what BA do on their sale as prices right now are quite high, I know I have booked but I'm interested to see what they do.

Better off just getting the train down to London night in a hotel in heathrow and then flying from there as thats pretty pricey

price difference is £15 flying toLHR from manchester, it would be lots more to train and stay over

Flight prices have jumped I think for next year, looking at various prices earlier, Denver was about £674, which is up on last year. Dallas prices appear to have leapt also.

you are right , it isnt a very sale like sale. Comparing the same flights booked in September they are over £200 more in the current sale. Not so cheap. Train option adds an extra day for me, app cost 90 train fare, underground i think about 15 , motel 45 and shuttle bus about 12. So coulld total about £162. BA have since I booked cancelled the first flight out of manchester and put me on the second and for some reason cancelled my 17.50 flight from Dallas and booked me onto a flight after 18 hrs. Strange really.

Still get to places on time though.

Thanks

Hi Nick

Dogtag is the one pretty much everyone is using.

Although I have been contacted by a local Insurer who has said he will cover Storm Chasing for us all, might be able to get something cheaper!

Hi Paul if that local guy can sort something, do you think I'll be able to get cover from him as well even though I'm based in AUS? Can't seem to get any cover from here other than the normal travel insurance.

Gail

I will speak with him on Sunday and ask him about overseas, he seems pretty confident on the Insurance so I am very hopeful for you!

Will report back next week for you!

Regards

Keep us all informed Paul, insurance is always a challenge.

BA sale prices have really dropped today, a round trip LHR- DIA- LHR is now £697 good.gif

Prices coming down again, £620 ish direct from Heathrow or £510 with one stopper. From Manchester with one stop is only £490 for my rough dates and okay times. Might opt for that this year, we'll see!
