Dry, bright and breezy, 21C...There appear to be some high-level Cbs perhaps 30 miles SW of here...May be wishful-thinking, though!

19.5C. Cloudy and bright with the sun breaking through every so often.

Looks like there is rain approaching from the south though, looks heavy, so could potentially go boom!

The morning started at 7.30 when I was roused by a thunderstorm cell passing by (clap.gifyessss!!!! ). Since then some rain has threatened from passing dark cumuli, but there is still plenty of warmth and strong sunshine about as well making the day better than expected at about 21C presently.

A couple of brief sharp showers early last night along with some flashes of sheet lightning to the SE and east, although not close enough for thunder to be heard. Dust deposited in the rain showers onto cars (Saharan?).

Mix of cloud and sunny intervals today. Warm with a moderate South to SW breeze.
