Lovely warm morning after a chilly night.

Currently 21c after a low of 8.8c.

A repost of the plume of smoke from the Coventry fire yesterday evening as we drove past:

post-2595-0-19180000-1344506235_thumb.jp

This was close to the airport and roads around it were closed for several hours. I could still see the cloud from it from the M42 south of Birmingham over 20 miles away.

I would normally feel warm at 22 °C but as it’s at least 10 degrees cooler than I’ve got used to for the last week it actually feels very fresh.

It took a bit longer for the cloud to burn off nearer the coast and it was after lunch before some sun appeared, and there was quite a bit of high cloud despite the warmth. Sun really got going about 5.00 p.m. and it's still warm now at about 18C.
