Quite cool and showery here, 8 oktas cloud cover, temperature of 16C and no wind. The only showers in Scotland are located in this area right now. It was drier earlier though.

Yesterday:

Showers cleared last night leaving variable cloud through the night. The morning so far has been dry and bright with sunny spells. Cumulus clouds bubbling up. Cloud continued to increase with showers heavy breaking out across the area around 10:00 GMT. This station caught a heavy one during the middle of the afternoon with a noticeable drop in temperature. A few showers continued in to the early evening across the area.

[Thundery wintry showers]

Dry and sunny this morning, a sharp shower at around 1pm, then turned mostly cloudy with occasional bright intervals, with extensive Cu and Sc, perhaps reflecting relatively "stabilised" air ahead of the occlusion coming into the west. Should be more "active" convection-wise tomorrow. A max of 20.6C in the sunshine early on, currently 19.7C. Overnight it got down to a fairly cool 10.2C.

Disappointing day in comparison to than forecasted. Quiet a bit of cloud around throughout the day and not as warm as the 20C we expected. Cool evening with some heavy showers of rain and little or no sun. Feels like autumn already.
