Where do people go to see the mythical 60/70 an hour? I'm lucky if I see a couple. :(

I'm currently in Bearsden but was on the Campsies an hour and a half ago and thought I saw something like a meteor looking at the skies above Lanarkshire. How regular are they and where to look I wonder.

In saw two on Saturday night, none last night and hope I'll see more this evening. Although with my luck it'll be cloudy as usual. Really, the best thing I EVER saw in the heavens was Hale-Bopp comet in 1997. He was simply amazing.

I remember Comet Hale - Bopp. My dad was teaching me how to take a picture of it. I was about 11 years old.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
