Hey all,

Looks like we've got another pretty significant rainfall even to come across England and Wales from today through to Saturday as weather fronts once again become slow moving and stuck;

Rainfall particularly focused around Wales, the Midlands, parts of East Anglia and south-east England.

NAE model forecasting 30-50mm in total over the next 48hrs;

Given the recent deluge, you would expect a flood risk once more?

Inevitably my latest video deals with the latest heavy rainfall event: http://www.gavsweathervids.com/

im down in somerset and 3hrs ago i would have put money on the arrival of the rain ,with very big spots etc ,it started spotting about 10 30 am . looks like the front is struggling . all adding interest to the situation . ok just arrived also wind picking up .its going to be an interestig couple of days . but not good for people with weather sensitive buisness . its also looking like after a dry spell 16th 19th ,july the atlantic will rush in bringing us more rain . i dont like the word AZORES OR EURO HIGH BUT IT COULD BE WELCOME FOR ONCE . and perhaps its better FOR NOW RATHER THAN IN OUR WINTER , KEEP SAFE ALL AND ENJOY drinks.gif

Well, 55 mm forecast here for the next 36 hours, not as bad as the 102mm they predicted for tomorrow at the start of the week, but if this happens, it will cause some problems here, with the rivers being high already, and the saturated ground. Will be one to watch.

    The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
