Do you know whether this development will be thundery in the evening?

I expect that what thundery activity does develop won't fade out to fast, so yes a thundery evening/late eve.. if it all gets going!

Just walked 1 1/2 miles in a t-shirt and jeans, after missing a bus. I could have got a taxi, but couldn't care less about getting wet, so walking was good. Hair soaked, but clothes, other than my shoulders, damp at most. Means moderate rain max here. By the way, I've not had that much to drink.tongue.png

Interesting forecast for late tomorrow, with possible heavy thunderstorms. I think north Essex will be too far north though - I doubt we'll get the benefit of convective heating. Could all change though, so back to chart watching in the morning!smile.png

Dear Mother Nature,

I don't mind it raining at night thats cool it keeps our flowers and water levels topped up but not in the day when I have to go out and do stuff and not EVERY day thanks.

Kind Regards,

Luke

P,s if you could throw thunderstorms/snow into the mix a bit more that would also be cool.

Low cloud here at home. I can also see bits of blue sky. A good sign for later?

Would you Adam and Eve it, the only patch of drizzle is right over my postcode! Once again I feel that the extreme east will have to put up with reading everyone else's storm reports......

A merry good morning to all. Very gloomy here in Ippy but I don't mind. Ah, hang on...I can see that little patch of blue "which prisoners call the sky" (sorry, I'm an Oscar Wilde Fan. :) ) I see we have thunder forecast for later. YAY! Here's hoping. :D

3/4" of rain overnight, are we in the Great British monsoon season? I could hold the Olympic swimming events on my patio at this rate........

We had a lot of rain overnight. Woke up once or twice to hear it teaming down. Blue sky now. Oh the vagaries of the British weather. It was black as pitch an hour ago. *meah* :)

Well, I am a bit, but I guess it'll be a no-show as per. But I want to take my 6 month old niece out in one and show her how beautiful and exciting thunder and lightning can be. Like she cares. :D

I'm more optimistic than I was yesterday, which was not much more than zero, due to me thinking it would be cloudy here today. However, we have a bit of sun.

Hopeful, as always, but not over optimistic. Whatever will be will be.

Winds will be converging this afternoon around the midlands area, one from the South-West and one from the North-East, where these winds converge is where the heaviest showers/thunderstorms will be. If I were to guess I would put my money on Worcester to Cambridge for development, whatever happens after that is anyone's guess.
