Hoofing it down here and it doesn't look like stopping for a while. Will venture out in a minute to empty the rain gauge.

A foggy start following yesterday's washout in Sandhutton but the sun has broken through and some TCu is already shooting up, currently 19.7C and rising.

One of those sort of days that I'd been hoping for when moving down here- judging by Neil Bradshaw's site South Shields has sea fog, 14C, and is convection-free.

Hasn't stopped raining here since yesterday afternoon; very heavy at times. I live on a hill so I'm absolutely fine but there are some flood warnings out nearby for areas I've never heard warnings for before (Ilminster and area). Steady light rain at present - about 15C.

I seem to have passed the grieving stage for the summer and have now entered the acceptance and adaptation stage. crazy.gif

Up to 23.1C here, and at least 2C hotter than everywhere else in the country, absolutely remarkable for Blackpool and completely unexpected is this heat and warmth! :o
