Yeah im still slightly sceptical to getting thunderstorms seems the general track they're psuhing is more NW towards Brum.

Look out west or SW you may see distant lightning and hear thunder from the line coming up from Evesham and just west of Stratford and appearing to have a slight eastward push to it.

Looks like the MCS maybe getting a little weaker now in the East but may be becoming more surface based so perhaps more intense locally but not as widespread.

**Any spotters on here in the area around Grantham/Newark??.....very interesting radar signature from the storm heading your way...need confirmation that it's now surface based as could well be developing tornadic supercellular characteristics......**

Are we talking about this? ( I assume so... )

If not, Then . LOOK AT THIS lol.

There MUST be something there!

Well, narrowly missed the early storm this morning, had a few flashes, one hitting in my cousins front garden in Broseley according to him. A smaller storm just to my SW heading more directly this time, loads of scud in all directions. Just heard a rumble I think.

compared to that giant that missed narrowly earlier these are smaller less intense and will probable go through relatively quickly Hopefully

Interesting radar signature just to the South of Keyworth on the A606 west of Melton Mobray, looks like it's tightening up there, if it's become Sbased might become tornadic?

Heard reports on another forum of observed rotation near Leicester on this Storm

Thought as much.

Looks like its gone back to normal now. But yeah, there must of been something there. Might get some reports over the coming hours then.

Nothing yet i think it will probably go just north of Coventry/Warwick again!! May just catch the edge of it?

There does NOT have to be something though, have followed Hook Echoes for 2-3 hours before with nothing producing, there is a better chance of something happening but it is not a certainty by any means.

North Wales by the look of it, heading North East. I think you might catch something in the next 30 mins. Something just brewed up over Manchester/ Rochdale and low and behold..completely avoided me. 1 distant rumble for me so far and some light rain... Edited by Hodr

Through here two hours ago so must be getting into Glos and judging by the showers are only forming north of there.

yes they keep missing us here in Stratford although I hear thunder occasionally and earlier this morning the thunder I could hear in the distance was like nothing I have ever experienced in my life. Shame it missed us!

When i mean "something" i mean. Surely there must of been some visible rotation at least?

I certainly dont mean visible tornado on the ground... i fyou know what i mean lol ?

Just got into my home in Beds - absolutely nothing here so far! Clouds are quickly bubbling up it looks like. The humidity is sky high - feels almost Florida-esqe.

Just keeping my eye on that storm in Lincs/Notts - I have family in Newark.
