Max of 22.1C today, mostly long, sunny spells. Now much cloudier thanks to yet ANOTHER low pressure system, which is starting to annoy me!

19.1C atm.

Clear spells and cool last night.

Periods of hazy sunshine this morning, sunny intervals early afternoon, then cloudy after 1500. Warm and quite humid. Light to moderate mainly SE breeze. Light rain past hour.

Much more sun than forecast with just short of 12 hours. However yet another below average day with a max of only 15.0Cdry.png

A fine evening for going out a walk but certainly not warm enough to sit in the garden after work. At least the sun has warmed the indoor temperature to 22.9C so a rare occasion this month with no need for central heating.

Disappointing day in comparison to yesterday. Decent start but cloud collected by lunchtime and it has been overcast all afternoon, although relatively warm, and rain began spitting at about 6.30 p.m - no sign of the heavy stuff yet, though.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
