Well another dire day in Derbyshire, grey skies and and pulses of heavy rain. The gusty SE wind continues and not a glimmer of sunshine all day. What a contrast to Filey where we had warmth and plenty of sunshine and no rain for 5 days!!

Cloudy throughout, although cloud finally breaking now, again missed the most of the showers, but some showers this morning and early afternoon, but there was a hour of heavy rain as the trough passed through.

About 4mm of rain today.

Hopefully better weather now for a few days.
