So how long has this been known and is this a recent phenonenom.Scientists are just going to flock to vietnam...So what`s this about a straight line on her right brain`s right side, which only happens with the brains of philosophers of priests????

People are now camparing this little girl to(X-men)Pyro.

I know alot who won`t even believe this as they don`t even like sci/fi let alone the real deal.

Nothing new, my GF can set fire to the pavement when there's a sale on!

I'm sceptical to say the least, sounds like one of those internet myths that does the rounds from time to time

Lol, I wouldn't trust any of them links if someone paid me.

This would need some serious scientific study, and therefore would be posted on major news websites such as BBC, CNN, etc.

Entertaining piffle.

I say entertaining, when of course I mean tiresome.

Looks like a typical electrical fault fire to me.

What a load of crap!

Who on earth reads into this rubbish.

I have terrible trouble trying to believe in things like Virgin Births and the parting of the Red Sea (that I've been force-fed with since childhood), so I'm hardly going to believe in telekinetic fire-starting, am I? And I do like Si-Fi; I can quite happily suspend my disbelief whilst reading a good book...It's only when folks try to claim fiction as fact, that I turn off...

Which reminds me - where did that Piers Corbyn thread get to?biggrin.png

Thats one of the more interesting replies you`ve given.

Just thought it was unusual as those are doctors and scientists afterall, and no weird site as backtrack suggests.

That remark about CNN.

CNN has lost 50% of it`s viewers in the last 12 months.

Never watch it myself.

BBC..........lol.

So what would you suggest we use as our main reliable, relatively unbiased news source, Murdoch's Fox News Network, Russia Today, Al-Jazeera? I'd appreciate your input on how the BBC is less balanced than any of these. The BBC isn't perfect, but surely it's less subject to political interference than any of the others I've mentioned!

It does indeed make one wonder, CR. But, to my mind, anything that clearly defies what we already know (and has been experimentally confirmed, countless times) about energy and thermodynamics is hardly worth the bother? Even when there's a six-figure book-flogging deal somewhere on the horizon...
