What a difference a half-hour can make! The cloud shield has moved away to the SE, leaving behind an 'almost' wall-to-wall azure dome. That said, it's still only 10C...

It seems I've been remarkably lucky where I live considering how dire other reports have been. Out of the wind yesterday in Glastonbury it actually got quite sticky, and during the majority of the day showers were very short and middling. From the Tor we saw the line of rain parked over the Mendips. By the looks of things we have been just on the right side of the line for most of the last two days. Street parties went on without interruption, and while cool the weather today has still been pleasant enough, and when the sun finally came out at about 4.30 it's warmed up a bit. Lovely cool evening now.

Nice not to complain after the last two years where Somerset seemed to get the short straw so often.
