Showery rain cleared towards midnight and the rest of the night saw variable cloud. In clear spells through the early hours the temperature fell to 3.0c with –0.1c on the grass, so a touch of ground frost was detected, the 14th ground frost this month, though just 4 air frosts. The morning to observation has been cloudy and dry, though a few cloud breaks are moving in slowly from the west. The cloud broke slowly through the morning allowing a few brief sunny spells, though showers threatened by around lunchtime, but no rain fell at this station. The afternoon saw more in the way of sunshine and the temperature climbed to 13.9c. Turning overcast through the evening with light rain.

Consistent drizzle this morning combined with 27-31mph gusts as the front/s move through. For some reason the weather always seems to know when its bin collection day, as in my cul-de-sac alone half the bins are scattered across the road.

So far been a day dominated by cloud and heavy rain. Feels rather cool outside with a temperature around 5*C. Almost feels as though it is Winter again. :lol:

Actually feels mild here when the rain stops, it's been 13C this afternoon. Unpleasant when it rains but when the sun makes an appearance it feels reasonably pleasant.
