Morning.

Rain, at times with wet snow mixed in during the heaviest of bursts.

Surprising as I really didn't expect any snow at all even if only temporary. Interestingly a couple of weather stations in Yorkshire are reporting sleet, no sleet here though currently just light rain.

I reckon that top temperature for 'Humberside' (where is that place never heard of it since 1996) on the front page is way out... I was in the car just an hour ago and it says it was 4C. Very cool for April.

Car thermometers LOL totally inaccurate. Once parked in the sun with snow and ice on the grpund and the car reckoned it was 30c when I returned to it hours later.

Anyway a much nicer day than forecast when the drizzle and light rain cleared.

Temps edging above normal according to the Davis at 12.6c so call it normal.

Sunny spells and light isolated showers morning onwards.

Rainfall 3.6mm

wind f4 SW

Overcast with heavy rain and sleet this early on, the latter being completely unexpected here at sea level. It then cleared quickly during the morning to give a mostly cloudy day with sunny spells and occasional light showers.

A cool start with a low of 3.4C during the sleet but rising to a mild 13.1C during the afternoon. 2.8mm of rain in total.
