A min of 0.1C last night so unlike recent nights not quite an air frost here. Surprisingly I'm beating OON for air frosts this month with a grand total of 8 so far this month.

Variable cloud overnight with the temperature falling to 2.6c in clearer spells, low on the grass –0.9c so a slight ground frost detected. The morning to observation has been bright with sunny spells. There were further sunny spells through the day, but also a good deal of cloud at times with sharp showers accompanied by small hail. This station again missed the heavy showers with only a few spots of light rain detected.. Feeling chilly in the moderate NE wind. Turning clear by early evening with ground frost well before midnight.

0.6C was the minimum temperature, quite impressive for mid-April here.

11.5C atm with cloud building. Feeling cold with winds from the North.

Another cold day for mid-April despite long periods of sunshine. There were some light showers, mostly in the form of sleet and graupel, though after mid-morning they were few and far between. It is now clear allowing the temperature to fall, but like last night we might just miss out on an air frost due to the wind.

Currently 4.5C and 77% humidity.

A dry and mainly sunny morning. Cloud built steadily after midday but produced nothing more than a brief light shower of snow pellets around 1400 g.m.t. By late afternoon the cloud was dispersing steadily.

Clear periods and a slight frost last night.

Sunny to 1100, then sunny spells at times, and a few spotty showers. Moderate to fresh NE wind, and a cool day.

Drove back to Wales this evening, largely sunny then clear. Temps 0c west of Brecon and also when we got home.
