A much cooler and cloudier start than recently after a fairly windy night with a maximum gust of 38 mph NW during the early hours.

Clear with ground frost early last night, then clouded over at some stage after 0200.

Low cloud and cooler this morning, hints of brightness now. Moderate north breeze.

When I went out to work at 07.00 I was fully anticpating another stunning day, however by 08.00 low cloud and mist had moved in from the NE and it's been dull ever since although the sun is trying to break through now.

Currently 12.0c and 66% humidity.

The low cloud has cleared and it's sunny but despite the sunshine the temperature is much lower than on recent days, currently 9.7c with a NW wind averaging 18 mph.

Still lovely & sunny here on the south coast, but cooler. Was 24C (75F) yesterday afternoon, today it is 16C (61F), which is still above what it should be for the time of year, but feels cool.

A much cooler day than recently despite continuous sunshine from about 1030 g.m.t. The NW wind became quite strong this afternoon and by early evening it felt decidedly chilly.
