Longest Anticyclonic Spells

With the current nice anticyclonic spell,

I'm wondering what the longest spell that the UK has ever had?

Also interested to know the longest ever one high over us?

I doubt few would call it "nice", but the Bartlett High winter of 1988-1989 must be one of the best examples, if you consider it anticyclonic.
