A dry day followed with sunny spells, although a good deal of cloud at times. The early evening saw cloud increase further with rain, moderate and heavy at times set in. The heavy rain moved away after midnight, with a few clear spells following.

Could be a notably cold night in many parts of england and wales with a widespread air frost - surprised not many are commenting on this. No exceptionally low temps, but wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Benson get close to -5 degrees.
