Howdy. :hi:

Currently some very foggy conditions outside at the moment. Was surprised how thick the night-time fog was when I peeped out my window...

Also feeling cold outside with the temperature around 0.4*C with barely any wind around. Apparently, looking at the 3am Met Office report for Pershore, it's -2.9*C their. Impressive.

Today looks like it will be: "Largely cloudy with mist and locally dense fog at first. Many central and eastern areas becoming sunnier and pleasantly warm. Staying cloudier in the west though with patchy drizzle, and some outbreaks of rain in western Scotland and Northern Ireland." (http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_forecast_weather.html - updated 02:39am)

Netweather's version: "Into tomorrow (for today), it's more of the same for much of England and Wales, but for Scotland and Ireland there will be some outbreaks of rain arriving from the west giving us the first hints of the breakdown to less settled weather. That rain works it's way a little way further south into Friday, with cooler air bringing some wintry showers to Scotland behind it too." Using the Watnall 00z ascent suggests 6C should see much of the fog/St being broken up with the sun breaking through.

Already holes appearing on the latest sat picc but this perhaps partly due to orographic effects in places.

Another overcast start at Cleadon, following a min of 3.5C at 11:30pm last night in a clear slot. However the stratocumulus sheet dissipated completely in the last half hour and it is currently clear and sunny, 6.5C, with some Ci/Cs to the west.

Clear overnight which allowed it to turn pretty cold and thick fog to form. Only in the last 20 minutes has it started to turn brighter though its still rather hazy at the moment.

Currently 7.1C and rising rapidly. The min temp last night was 2.6C.

No measurable precipitation for 7 days now.

dense fog again!

The fog has slowly lifted to mist and low cloud although there is no sign of brightness, 9.6c at present.

Been remanining cloudy (though that very thick fog from earlier eventually departed), with the temperatures feeling cool. In fact, looking at the local Met Office reports, the temperature looks as though it hasn't got any higher than 7*C here at best. And to think I thought it would become sunny with temperatures reaching 16*C here. How wrong I was (lol).

Pressure around 1022 hpa and falling, with a very gentle South-Westerly breeze.
