I think the radar looks very good for sheffield! Be patient :p

Every so often it looks like the ppn might be trending every so slightly further west.. but then it doesn't.. :diablo:

light snow on and off here at Leeds train station.

This must be the first time ever that it's rained here while snowing in leeds city centre. Unbelievable!

I think it's pushing/extending westwards but unfortunatly it's all moving south at the same time.

Cant believe the roads have covered so quickly after getting drenched by the rain! proper dry snow covering everywhere! this has surprised me big time!

Last post from my until 9:30pm :(

But hate to put a dampener on things, but looking at the radar looks as if the precip off the North sea will not push into East Yorkshire and move westwards. Seems the front is much further East, which basically means the pivot point has moved further South, so it will be East Midlands/EA where that precipitation in the N Sea is likely to track.

Precipitation leaving most eastern parts and N Yorkshire within the next hour or so.

Odd flake now but once the heavier bit moves through there's nothing behind it unless the stuff to the north east bends round towards us which it doesn't seem to be doing.

Same here, seems to have turned more to snow. Just shame that its likely the the PNP will be to the south, once this clears

Not so sure about that Lewis, as the high pressure builds from the easT then the energy should transfer more SW.

You have done very well there mate, we have had around 1-2 cm so far with possibly more on the grass. At least the temperature is below freezing, currently -0.4 here.
