haha well I'm one of the good guys, I locate the parcels not loose them. Oh and I don't throw them about either :p

moderate freezing rain here now, but each raindrop has a shell of ice around it. Strange.

Heavy now, and ice forming

Typical that the time when the surface temperatures are not marginal it turns out to be rain - only that could happen in northwest England

Rain heavier the further North you go all the way between Preston and Carnforth.

Motorway not safe from Lancaster North. Saw at least 6 cars spun off the Northbound side and a serious accident Southbound just near Lancaster.

If you have to drive be careful.

Ice pellets here now, not going to cause sheet ice because its more like tiny clear hail

moderate rain here....still -1 in my yard but surfaces don't seem to be cold enough to the freeze the rain....on saturday it was freexing on cars but not roads and pavements...today its water everywhere.......

annoying how snow free Preston is.....but same factors are keeping the roads safer...swings and roundabouts....
