You have been quiet in the model thread today. What's your thoughts? Is the fat lady clearing her throwt or will we see another model flip tommorow?

High today of 4.3c with plenty of thawing unfortunately leaving lots of slush where people walk the most but still nice snow cover on the quieter side roads.

Now -0.1c dew point -2c and mostly clear...that snowy blob passed just to my north a little while ago

The odd snow flake trickling down, quite beautiful. Temp -1.1 . Cold down the woods tonight, all the badgers tucked up warm underground, none surfaced ! (There not silly)

Well parts of hilly north Brighton got a couple of inches but I guess that just makes it more gutting to be soo close but too far(to the sea)...

I know I went for a drive on Sunday and couldn't believe just a few miles up the a27 and there was snow and it was a pretty good covering,it does make it worse when you know that snow was so close but it JUST missed you lol.oh well next winter maybe .

Raining in Peterborough, according to people in the EA thread.

Though temps & dew points are good enough for snow here.

Its still floating down here lightly. Some nice size flakes in there. I wish it had been in the daytime though. The prettiest snowflake landed on my fence. It actually looked like a real snowflake, you could see all its little bits (sorry for the rather scientific description there lolz) Couldn't get a pic though as its too dark for my camera! booo

GFS 18z shows some snow potential for us tomorrow night:

Notice the kink in the isobars just to the SE of Kent:

Quick question. Now, I realise my iPhone weather app ( the standard one that comes with the phone) is probably not the most reliable of forecasts, however, it is showing snow for Saturday. Reason for my concern is that I'm flying out to Barcelona for a few days. Should I be concerned?
