Great reading all the reports. Love the ones that say level snow of 4cm and in drifts 8cm. 4 cm drifts(very funny). Enjoy all those that had snow. I am off to play golf. Not even winter greens.

In more sheltered front garden measurements taken within last hour on paving between 19 to 19.5 cms.

In back garden which is more open, outside of the drifting areas, a consistent 21cms.

Reasonably high for south Essex here, property is almost on 75m contour.

7 inches this morning but blown around a lot compacted slightly and wetter than last night. 2 foot drifts on roads out of Macclesfield seemed like we got a direct hit of the heavy stuff last night certainly 5 inches in the town centre last night and drifts in the main streets

Sticking around here pretty well considering it's now 4.6C I've seen a foot of snow disappear within half n hour with temps like this.

3 inches in Leeds City Centre (well just out).

Apparently there was near 20cm in Church Fenton.

Will measure my parents on higher ground later.
