Following the highly successful Met Office weather app on iPhone, weather forecasts from the Met Office are now available for Android.

The app can be used on all android phones and includes a widget so information can be accessed directly from the dashboard.

Already have the Meto app on my iPhone, pretty good actually. :)

what are the square bar-codey like things lower down in the page, one for android, one for i-phone2 ???

You scan it with an app on your mobile and it takes you straight to the page to download the app :)
