Oxford Latest Weather- It's Currently 0.2c here under Clear Skies, Dewpoint is at -1.9c

and only a light westerly wind blowing currently.

Dull with light rain in Cleadon, 3.0C following a minimum of 2.2C at 4:06am. A thick layer of stratus with some fractal cloud scudding about underneath.

Today dawned cold and very wet with the 07.00 temperature being 2.6c with heavy rain.

It has slowly turned milder through the morning and the rain has eased to drizzle since 10.00.

Currently 8.9, 90% humidity and 6mm in the gauge.

Frost cleared through the early hours as cloud and light to moderate rain spread in to the area from the west. At observation, light rain, fog.

Today's readings for the 24 hrs up to 09:00 GMT:

Temperature: 3.3°C

Maximum temperature to 18:00 GMT yesterday: 8.5°C

Minimum temperature overnight: -0.8°C

Yesterday:

Variable cloud overnight and dry. Enough wind to prevent the temperature from falling below 3.2c with –0.5c on the grass, so a slight ground frost detected. At observation, bright and dry. The day saw sunny spells and a few light scattered showers in the area. The evening turned clear with ground frost setting in by mid evening.

Cold overnight with an early air frost. Soon clouded over bringing rain by sunrise, mostly moderate. The rain has gradually eased during the afternoon but there are still a few spots in the wind. Maximum temperature (about now) 9.6, minimum -0.5. Wind light SW.

Clear intervals with a ground frost early last night. Spells of rain, heavy at times after 0330.

Rain, heavy at times to 0800. Very mild and cloudy today, with a little drizzle at times. Spells of light rain and drizzle after 1630.

Moderate to fresh wind varying between south and west.
