Autumn And Winter On Isle Of Barra

Hi these pictures have been taken throughout autumn and winter here so I thought I would share them enjoy.

Only one day of snow this winter so far

Old tires left on the beach

We had a stormy end to November and December was stormy as well

But when the sun comes out it does make a change

The airport

Okay the next few were taken in the summer

Airport beach on a cold morning

Grass on the sand dunes

The Atlantic always puts on excellent sunsets

Taken just a few days ago the wind has blown the sand everywhere

Nice pics.. such a variety of colors!! the summer ones looks like someplace in the med.. But would love to know the wind speeds you get when one of them storms blows in??

Thanks yes the colors make it look like the med but the temperature doesn't match it In December our highest gust recorded was 95mph.
