Honestly, these global warming nutjobs will do anything to keep the dream alive.

You think the whole article is some sort of Global Warming 'believer' agenda?

It reminds me of a program, 'Tomorrow's World' we used to get on the box - some of the things which came were really good, whilst others, well, just fell by the wayside.

Unfortunately I won't be round long enough to see what is right and what isn't after the next 20 years, being optimistic, or perhaps with some of the things forecast I may not wish to be so.

It is interesting yet disturbing! Kind of glad I won't be around if it all comes to pass. Unless I am alive beyond 100, which I won't want to be.

I am against the prospect of such control over our natural environment, and the thought that individual function needs to be improved ( why? ) by artificial insemination, technology implanted to supposedly enhance our productivity..BS!

I envisage something else happening, and that is a successful rebellion against such things. A return to basic needs, less materialism, a greater connection with our instinctive connection to nature, direct human contact, a strengthning of local communties.

If democracy persists, then I am preety sure these themes will win out.

If not then I am going to join the rebels !

Thanks for the link interesting stuff.

Found this between 2030 to 2039

Full weather modeling is perfected

Zettaflop-scale computing is now available which is a thousand times more powerful than computers of 2020 and a million times more powerful than those of 2010. One field seeing particular benefit during this time is meteorology. Weather forecasts can be generated with 99% accuracy over a two week period.* Satellites can map wind and rain patterns in real time at phenomenal resolution - from square kilometres in previous decades, down to square metres with today's technology. Global warming, climate modeling and sea level predictions can also be achieved with greater detail than ever before, offering greater certainty about the long-term outlook for the planet.
