It is not in fact a wall cloud in your image above but the leading edge of the Gust Front. These can sometimes also be slanted from ground to Cloud in a diagonal manner and called a "Whales Mouth"

Have attached two examples of these from some of our previous chases.

Most Models pointing at the moment to an Outbreak in Oklahoma, Kansas and Western North Texas at the moment. Lots can change over the next week but if the models continue to firm up on this we could be seeing another Upturn in the Yearly Tornado Numbers!

Hail the size of SOFTBALLS destroys car windshields in Kansas storm

Kansas is famous for the violent twister that lifted Dorothy's house into the air and transported the wide-eyed girl to the Land of Oz. But it's unlikely even that dramatic storm would have created hailstones quite as big as those that battered the state last night.

Softball-sized rocks smashed car windshields in Madison and twisters are now forecast for central U.S. today.

WxRisk.com, a private weather forecasting firm, posted on Facebook: 'That was a HUGE bow-hook, a monster funnel cloud. Hail in excess of 4.25 in. Slightly larger than softballs at times.' The firm said one of three storm cells that moved through the town of 700 'produced monster-size hail for almost 30 minutes... lots of reports of cars and structures being damaged due to the large hail.

'Tennis-ball hail, CD hail, Softball hail, and even larger.' The giant hailstones battered Madison overnight as twisters threatened to form in central U.S.

The huge, icy rocks however, did not break any U.S. records. A hailstone that hit Vivian, South Dakota, in July 23, 2010, holds the record for largest diameter (8 inches) and for weight (1.938 pounds). A hailstone in Aurora, Nebraska, on June 22, 2003, has the largest circumference (18.75 inches). Hail pounded other parts of Kansas overnight as well, and the forecast for today had much of the region, including Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri, with a high chance of severe conditions, weather.com reported. 'We're getting into that time of year when we get severe thunderstorms just about every day,' said Greg Forbes, weather.com's severe weather expert.

The storm system will trigger strong storms in the Ohio Valley on Friday, predicted weather.com. In spite of the frequent sunshine throughout much of the state, its location at a climatic boundary means the state is vulnerable to strong and severe thunderstorms. Many of these storms become Supercell thunderstorms, which can trigger tornadoes.

I had the same problem, clearing my Cache did the trick.

Similar thing happened a couple of weeks ago and the solution was the same.

Impressive hook echoes on two storms moving NE across the northern burbs of Dallas recently, TVS very close to DFW airport, must have shut it for a while:

Don't think I would fancy a chase in the DFW metroplex today with so many tornadoes on the ground in the area. Just seen the footage of a tornado ripping through Arlington over the I-20, debris flying all over the place, still the usual cars sheltering under bridges too! State of disaster declared in Arlington.
