3.8c for me please.A midish first, half followed by a gradual cool down, aided by some low temperatures due to persistant frosts.

Not going with my prediction in the winter forecast thread, there is no point in kidding yourself, i still think we could have a cold end but may be very late and not making up for the mild start.

4.9 please.

1.9 with a very cold second half ... working on a table that should be ready at 0001 GMT (I have eight more hours of 2011 than most of you).

Happy New Year and thanks to Jackone for all the work on the contest.

Hi RJS. As a respected forecaster on here, how confident are you on a pattern change around mid-January?

And would that 1.9C be for your location in Canada, or the UK? :)

Well, you've been pretty spot on regarding daily details , especially stormy ones, in your lrf so this cold prediction is quite notable indeed... thanks for the table as well, your work is fab Roger :)

Who Was the Closest and How will he/she do for the January CET? What on earth will January Bring and who'll be spot on this time. Worth keeping an eye on RJS's predictions, spot on for December and has one of the lowest predictions there!

It also looks like most members are going for January to be colder month than December. Let's see who has the closest predictions overall for the winter and what January and February will have in store. Maybe, just maybe we'll have another below average winter.
