Yesterday:

After the temperature fell to –2.8c with –6.4c on the grass producing a moderate frost, overcast conditions spread in to the area from the west around 02:00 GMT lifting the temperature and the frost. A little light rain was also noted. At observation, overcast and damp, ground still hard from last nights frost. Rain set in shortly after mid morning, and continued in to the afternoon, this was mostly light, though turned moderate at times, feeling cold and raw with the temperature around 3 to 4c for the most part. The late afternoon saw the rain clear away. Clear spells followed in the evening, feeling milder by then.

Dry, cloudy and mild at 5.8°C

Hopefully it will be even milder by tomorrow

:good:

I wouldn't in a million years classify 5.8c as mild, but yep, it's noticeably milder than of late here Gavin, 5.3c.

Tomorrow will most likely bring temps close to 8-9c, and Thursday maybe around 10-11c, I'm hoping we can get some sunshine to make it feel nice, otherwise it's just horrid low cloud.

Grey drab, 6.4C the high and it drizzled / light rain early afternoon, making for a miserable and cold feeling day and much worse than saturday which, although a colder temperature, with the sunshine actually felt a lot warmer.

Cant understand some peoples/ the BBC obsession with temperature as the definition of a mild day or not :wallbash:
