The good news for me is the temp as dropped again to 1.8C and dp is now 0.8C and still falling even under the cloud and bar now 989mb and wind is now directly from the East at 2mph

Suppose we cant be lucky every year. past 2 years we have had brill snow coverings last year was the best.... Was here early december till end jan was lovley. I think it will miss preston this year! :(

Cars are frozen up here. @ HC we only have partial thin cloud cover i can see the moon and a few stars. Might be the same for you.

I dont think people should be ready to write winter of yet, its barely got going, remember this winter will get going in January and feb, as opposed to november / december last year...wait until we get really cold..we are almost there...im not too worried about it being over, coz its only really just started to really get cold in the last few weeks

Temperature is holding steady at 0 celcius and pressure at 992, the showers in the region no longer seem to be moving. Looks like this may turn out to be a non event for us up here, however we still have Jan and Feb to go and they are the coldest months so we are not out of the woods yet.

Theres some hefty showers developing in the irish sea, could we beat the odds and get some snow! here's hoping :drinks:

yup its a pretty poor picture all round at the moment for most people in populated areas

bar at 988mb now, with temp static along with dp before.

Wow server load is geting high.

Temp has dropped by one more degree and the local mist has dispersed, still no sign of precipitation here and radar has been more or less stationary for hours.

Server getting hammered..heheh just been out, Cloud looks patchy and broken , can see moon through it,temp 1.8

Some poor bugger has been sitting in a cold dark cockpit for ages warming up the engines of a jet at Lpool airport.

1.5c dew 0.5c, all we need now is ppn and the band over southern Scotland should pull south as the low moves east.

Not to mention the showers breaking out over the Irish Sea. :)

Showers are are building real close to my location looking at the Netw zoom radar, 850's -5c
