Pasted from previous thread -ahhh Wallasey is colder than Heswall.. I wonder how many times that happens?

Currently 2.9C here!

It only happens when Santa comes along the road on his way back to the North Pole :-). (Wallasey Lions ! )

And here comes the cloud, and the temperature is shooting up like a rocket.

2.5C, up from 2.3C.

3.8c here with little movement, partly cloudy skies.

I would like some more hail showers, I wasn't expecting them earlier :)

Just underneath the leading edge of this massive cloud according to meto satellite photo. Temp 2.5C I don't think we're going to be anywhere near cold enough for snow. Southern temperatures are tropical underneath the cloud!

Seeing a steady drop on the west side of Manchester 2.1c and falling. I guess I will have to get up early to scrap the car as I leave for work at 5am!

Temp and dewpoint both hovering around 2c

Looking at the radar showers are moving into the NW but will probably fall as rain/hail

For those that don't have access to NW Extra here's a really good rain radar.

Temperature here has dropped by almost 3 degrees in as many hours, probably due to the sky clearing. Urban heating is causing a mist to cling near the ground.

Edit: More showers incoming you say?

Think I'll buy a months extra sub so I can follow it more easily.

If snow is desperately needed, try Helvellyn although today the fell top assesor (a chap who goes up everyday to provide summits conditions for hikers) could not reach the top due to excessive snow... :clapping:

3.0 here and stable.. I cant see much more of a rise, maybe a fall when the cloud clears away after midnight?

I have NW Lite which is more than adequate for me. A month's lite subscription is £6.49 I think and just the radar is £3.49. Nowt is it.

1c at present - sure feels cold enough for snow, but I ain't going to stay up late tonight watching the painstaking progress of the snow-dar. It will be a close, but no cigar night for my area. Although the forecast has suggested maybe a few rogue wintry showers could pop-up over the pennines over the next few days.

My current air pressure is reading 989hpa, it seems a little low, can anyone back this up preferably as close as possible to me? :)
