Snow at home, settling on Cars, roofs etc. Roads fine. Train to West Hampstead, sleety rain mix. At work now in SE1 London and rain, no sign of a flake at all....I want to go home to see the snow (not that it will last) but was lovely to see it falling again....Bring on the rest of winter baby yea

Nowt in Central London.

As, by definition, sleet has snow in it, I'll report it. Best I can do, I'm afraid... :cray:

Really chucking it down here with 50p size flakes. Thankfully its only managing to settle in places because until I can afford and invest in a 4 x 4 my days of loving the snow are long gone !

Unexpected snowfall in Cleadon this morning, as a frontal-type band appears to have formed to the north of the main low. which produced rain overnight as it cleared northwards, but has turned to snow as it comes back southwards. Currently 1-2cm on the ground and 0.6C.

just 4ºc and rain where I am but snow on the hills and the north of the Island causing closed roads and stuck buses etc, soulnds like the usual chaos

but why do the forecasts not actually predict more than a 30% chance of snow ????

it took the local met men at the airport to spash a warning on the front page of the local paper !
