Only one place where this has to go and its this thread. Wow:

http://hw.nwstatic.c...ctypeuktopo.png Probably snow over high ground or to low levels at times.

But wow, the biggest snow storm ever. I would love this to happen! It is rare to get a perfect synoptic like this, to get snow, with a low tracking south of the uk and bring all that precipitation and wind, along with cold temperatures and cold uppers for snow.

Nice bit of sleet that would be for me here probably. Maybe periods of snow. Most likely sleet or just rain even. Further north and that would be lovely. Snowdonia and the Beacons would get a nice dump. If it was a tad bit further south the low pressure system. It would be great for snow here. Heres hoping....... The SE would be mild with rain..... Wales, Midlands and north England would do well I think, well Im not an expert. It would be very marginal but nice to see these things poping up. Not really FI either its medium range.

Useful for looking at trends

Ah yes, thank you! Interesting to note, that in extreme FI that's there's a potential for Northern Blocking in Mid-Late Jan.
