Crosby didn't get to -21c, it got to -18c. (rounded)

It was certainly -21C. Will check in a sec.

A rather AVERAGE 4.8c here currently.

The November average low is around 3c here, and the early November low is 4c, so some cool nights like this will make any early mild anomaly much smaller.

5.7c, not falling much, but this was the case a few weeks back when the temperature was up and down all over the place, we ended up with a ground frost then despite much drier air.
