The lowest I had last night by the way was only 14C!!!!

Turning cloudy overnight, staying dry, very mild indeed, after an initial fall to 12.4c early in the night, the temperature rose to 15.4c during the early hours.

Light to moderate rain through the early hours produced 6.6mm. Mild, night low 13.3c. The morning to observation has been cloudy with drizzle, though a few brighter patches appearing now, drizzle stopped. By late morning the cloud began to thin and break allowing sunny spells which continued in to the afternoon, turning warm indeed for the end of October, top temperature 16.8c.

Temps peaked at 16.1 DgC this morning before backing off a degree or two about half an hour ago. Doesn't look like we will breaking the 19.4 DgC, Margate 31/10168 max in this part of the World!

Yep Kinloss still at 19.0 DgC but as we head into the slightly earlier, dark part of the day I guess that will be it. Very close to beating the record and still quite unusual for the end of October!

Cloudy and mild - pretty much a repeat of yesterday, but slightly brighter overall and the drizzle was confined to a single shower in the morning. Current conditions: broken cloud, 14.8 deg C, wind light S. Today's maximum 16.7, last night's minimum 13.7.

A mainly cloudy and dry day after a little light rain and drizzle during the early hours of this morning. There were a few breaks in the cloud sheet around mid-morning allowing some brief sunny intervals but during the afternoon the cloud thickened enough to bring one or two brief, light showers.

Heavy rain from the very slow moving and active cold frontal zone this evening. 6mm in one hour earlier, and about 11mm in total this evening.
